I used to Hate My Name

Assalamualaikum~

So guys, i did another personal branding on my 24th. Seems late, huh?Actually, i did this rebranding a year a go (cmiiw) on my other socmed. But i just make it in this blog, TODAY

So, Let me ask u a question? 

What and when is your social media debut?

For a millenials, maybe it isfacebook or instagram

But mine is Friendster on 2006/2007 (it's 10 years ago, lol)

My first email is princessa blah blah blah @yahoo.com. But i forgot the password and then change into ladykey_kudo@yahoo.com and then i switch to gmail and made  ladykey.kudo@gmail.com because gmail cant use underscore, so i used dot instead. I use that crappy email as my main email till 1 years ago. (how did i survive?)

On friensdter, my display name is Princessa_Key. Again, its crappy, i know, but what do you expect from an alay teenager? I bet most of people at my age who plays socmed on their teens ever at least once make a tacky username.

And then on 2008, i started to use Facebook. and guess whats my display name at that time? It's Heaven Key!!! It is english version of my name (please brace your self with another tacky-ness) And then i changed into Key Error or Keyror for short

Long story-short, last year, if im not mistaken, i changed my display name with my real name Miftahul Jannah. 

Maybe some of you wondering why i dont use my real name from the start?

The answer is because i dislike my real name.

My parents called me ITA because Miftah its a bit hard to spell. and i got bullied a lot because of that name. You know, if you say Ita on repeat, you'll get tai. (it's supposed to be a depressing story, but i loled when i type this, sorry). My old self is a bit coward, so when someone tease me, i cant say anything, just hold my anger and silent. (Dont ask how my current self react to it) Maybe that's why the wound is so deep. 

So to avoid those kind of tease,  i introduced my self as Key on college. But I introduced myself as Miftah on my first job because i started to get tired explaining to people why i was called key. "You know, Miftahul Jannah is Heaven Key in English. So i use key as my nick name. Heheheh (laugh so it isnt awkward)"

Beside, there's a lot of people named Miftahul Jannah. When i was in Junior High School, there are 3 Miftahul Jannahs! Can you imagine it? -_- 

And another problem is some people thought that Miftahul Jannah is a guy's name. I got called Mas or Pak a looot of time. Even till now... it happens in text/email...

But my current self is (kinda) a possitive person and has "IDGAF/IDGAS" attitude. so...  i have no worry about it anymore.

People grow up, so nobody bully me.

Still a lot of person named Miftahul Jannah but its a pretty name so many people used it. i should proud of it. 

Sometimes i called by "Mas" or "Pak". Ah, its okay. They will be ashamed of themselves when they learn the truth. i low key enjoy their embarrassment khukhukhu

So Thats it. Its a very long journey to get here. Do i regret my tackiness? No, im not. Its called the process of self-maturation. Even BTS Leader Kim Namjoon changed his stage name from Rap Monster to RM last month :) Aye, Fangirl strikes again Lol

Another Tacky-ness Trivia, if you interested:

- At college my dad is a bit upset because he knows that my friends call me KEY "You shouldnt called by key. Do you know what does key stand for? Key is a short from Monkey" lmao dad

- I have an email ladykey_kuda@yahoo.com because somehow i mistyped it. it supposed to be kudo. shinichi kudo is my ex lol

- I used Princess on friendster because my fav anime at that time is Princess Comet

- I used Lady because i also read Sherlock Holmes. The author name is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, so.. yeah....
